Bruno Balvanera joined the EBRD in 1996 and is currently Director for Caucasus, Moldova and Belarus, based in Tbilisi. From 2008 to 2013, he was Head of Regional Development, based in Moscow and responsible for the network of offices in the EBRD’s seven Federal Districts. For the 2 previous years, he was Head of the St. Petersburg. Prior to moving to Russia, he was Head of Business Development. He has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating the financing of investments in developing countries including Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe. Before joining the EBRD, Bruno Balvanera worked as Investment Manager for Development Banks in Mexico for projects both in the country and other jurisdictions, mainly in Latin America and the Caribbean. He majored as an Industrial Engineer, specializing later in Finance and Political Analysis. He has also a Master in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.

Dimitry Kumsishvili is the First Vice Prime Minister since June 2016 and Minister of Finance since November 2016. Prior to his appointment he held various high positions in the public and private sectors. He is a former Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. While holding the various positions in the public sector he was an initiator of several structural reforms and also an initiator and active participant of the preparation process of various innovation projects for the purpose of local production stimulation, establishing Georgian production, providing its quality and developing production-focused industries. He is married and has three children.
